I had the chance to see you perform,
and i let it slip through my fingers like sand...
The day i could have went to see you was the day i had to be in this parade
with our school band. You were going to perform in Cincinatti or Columbus Ohio in
August. We had this Huge festival that weekend, i had to be in a parade,
and if i didnt go to the parade i would have been kicked out of band,
and i love music, i would worthless without it, and your concert was like 2-3 hours away.
We didnt have enough money for gas and it was my brothers birthday.
My mom got sick, i had no ride, no money, and i couldnt go.
It would have meant the world for me to see you, but instead,
i had to stay home with my sick mom, play the trumpet in a parade,
and get a gift for my brothers birthday. I was almost in tears,
and your probably thinking wow, shes a baby she couldnt go to
a concert so she cries... no thats what my dad said to me. I wanted that
concert so bad, i wanted to let go and finally have fun and have it
go as planned for once, but i couldnt. And that was my only chance.
And its gone...................You guys just dont stop what your doing please.
