But what I have to say is more important than that, you must become worldwide! seriously, you'd be huge in Brazil, people love this type of music down here, the sad part is that I only know BLG because I often travel to US, it's hard to find a brazilian that knows about the band, and to buy a cd it's impossible! I LOVED this album! My favorites on their were Go: It's a good song for just letting somebody go and for leaving somebody that's hurting you. I also really liked The Only Way I Know How To Feel: I'm not 100% sure if this song was on the Love Drunk album or if it was a single song, but I absolutley loved it! It is now my lifes song! when 'Love drunk' first appeared on Myspace I literally screamed with joy. And as soon as it kicked in I was dancing. A really upbeat and feel good song which, despite being about a hearbreak, really gives you self belief that the world isn't going to end when a relationship does. You'll just be hungover for a bit
Immediately I pre-ordered the album... which took me 3 failed attempts on 3 websites to finally get (which eventually got sent to me from my aunty in Scotland!). With every album, you expect there to be on shabby song every now and again. Never did I expect that I'd find another album that wouldn't do this (the other being BLG's original album).
The album explores different areas of rock with the occasional ballad which although slow, wouldn't kill the crowd at a live show.
Tracks such as 'Shot Heard Round the World' and 'The Real Thing' really shout inspiration. With the sound effect of a tape on The Real Thing and the Bon Jovi-ish notions in Shot Heard Round the World it's clear to see the guys were feeling the 80's when they wrote this one!
The 80's music still lives on today, and I feel confident enough to say that Boys Like Girls' Love Drunk will be a timeless classic forever too.

You guys are my favorite band and I absolutely love your music, but in all honesty no matter how many albums you make,in my opinion,your first one will always be your best.Now, don't get me wrong, Love Drunk is a great album and I love the music and lyrics and I've listened to it over and over and over again.But,everytime I put in your first cd and I hear those first famous chords of 'The Great Escape' I still get goosebumps.Your first cd has really helped me get through some difficult times, music has always been able to do that for me but your's especially.I love you guys,I encourage you to continue to make music,and I wish you the best of luck in everything you do.
I enjoy the album. Apart from "Two is better than one" I think that Taylor Swift and Martin Johnson's voices clash and it just ended up sounding like a spoon falling. The actual music was awesome though. But I think you did well to produce an album with only one crap song. Most artists produce 2 or 3 songs that are crap.
So, all in all I just want to say, COME AND PERFORM IN NOTTINGHAMSHIRE, ENGLAND!!!!!!!!
u all just say how good the band is but u dont say what u specifically like about and to be honest it wasnt that good i liked the fast paced songs but i care dont much for the slow ones. another thing is that it all seems to be just bits and pieces of the same event 1 song is supposed to tell one story. all of the songs sound exactly the same they were trying to make different songs to make a full album so they changed up the lyrics and gave it a different name but its pretty much the same song. now u might all shut up about how much you love the music and start really listening to what they are really saying. BLG better read this if they want to stay alive in the music business.
