This was my first time to go to the mall with ate cristel and watched a band tour. Guess who? Boys like Girls. Before I was not familiar with them all I know was they were the band who sang “the great escape”. They really rock my world. I know it sounds corny but that is how I feel. Even though I am not close to the stage still I can see their faces. That is enough for me. The songs are really great. I whisper to my ate cristel and said “kahit di na sila kumanta basta tumayo lang sila enjoy na”(meaning: even they just stand there and dont sing i can still enjoy the presence of them). I was just overwhelmed by the way they perform. It feels like it was their last stand on the stage. While watching them my hands kept on waving and my feet followed the beat of the drums. It was so weird for me to feel this kind of appreciation. The last time if this feel was when I was in my highschool days. The sound of their songs retained to my mind. It keeps on running with their faces smiling to the crowd. I’ll cherish this moment. It was September 6, 2008 Saturday. I know someday I will have a chance to meet them face to face.
