i went on january 21st, it was my first NON-BLG concert. I loved it. Just Surrender and Mayday Parade were f***ing sweet. I loooooooooooove MP. I met Alex.
So I had meet and greet tickets which was cool. Dan came and got me and my friend while we were waiting outside and there were about 7 other girls.
I first saw Boys Like Girls by complete mistake. I was at a concert for the Gym Class Heroes, The Format, and All american Rejects. I had no idea that BLG was going to be there. The venue I was at had two floors, and I thought I was on the floor for Gym Class Heroes. Turns out, a band I'd never heard of was playing. I was going to go to the other floor when it hit me...these guys were REALLY hot. So I decided to stay just to look at them. And then I heard the song "Thunder", and it swept me off my feet. I spent the rest of the night trying to figure out who they were because I couldn't hear Martin clearly when he said "we're boys like girls from boston!" It sounded more like "we're boys like girls in boxes!"
So i found the CD, loved it, and went to a second concert. Met them, loved them...
And the rest is history.
I'll be seeing them again July 31st. And if fortune really does favor the brave, I'll sweep Martin off his feet. Ha.
