I'm a dedicated fan (and you should be too) because...
Well, they're gorgeous!!! Isn't that obvious?!...
That's not the main reason why I'm a fan though (but it helps!! haha)...
They really are beautiful guys, inside and out. Martin's lyrics are very moving. If you haven't realized that, you're not 'listening' to the music; you're only 'hearing' it. So take some time to really 'listen' to the lyrics, an you'll see what I mean...
The lyrics are also very relatable to most teenagers today. For example, we all have that special summer love that eventually comes to an end, yet deep down we still want that one person in our lives. "Thunder" sums up that emotion with brilliant creativity. The acoustic version brings tears to my eyes...
Their cover of Frou Frou's "Let Go" is amazing! Martin executes 'the high notes' perfectly. Hopefully we'll hear this one on their next album!!...
The guys are so cool!! I love how they don't take themselves seriously. I don't take myself seriously either, which makes life that much more fun!!...
Although I love all of them, Martin is my favorite!! He sings, he writes beautiful lyrics, and plays guitar (triple-threat!)!! And plus, he and I share something in common: we both love Twizzlers!!! haha...Did I mention that he's amazingly attractive?!...
I'm actually about to begin a few different art projects. I'll be using different pictures of BLG as references...Maybe I'll send the finished projects to them...
I saw them in the city (or New York City, for those of you 'non-Long Islanders') at the Fillmore at Irving Plaza on November 20th...they were amazing!!! I used up all of the memory on my phone taking pics and videos of them (my batteries to my digital camera died right before they went on...just my luck)...I still can't stop thinking about this concert!!...I think I was a little TOO optimistic...I had this feeling that I was going to meet them, so I brought their CD and Sharpies...haha...I didn't get to meet them, which bummed me out a little, but nothing would ruin my great mood because I was, like, 15-20 feet away from them!!!...On the way back home after the concert, my friends and I were making up different lyrics to the songs...our favorite was "Turn it up! Forty-five minutes to midnight!" (You can guess what time it was when we were singing that...haha)...
If all this isn't enough to prove that I am one of the Boys' biggest fan, I don't know what other proof you need, but feel free to let me know!!...
...*Let's spend tonight on top of the world*...
